Food Service Worker-Food Services
Date Position Available:
Assembles and delivers food trays to patients and Meals on Wheels clients. Serves food to cafeteria customers. Prepares food according to written instructions. Processes menus and diet orders. Completes janitorial duties and dishwashing. All other duties as assigned.
High school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions. Must be able to write simple correspondence. Ability to compute units of measure, proportions and calculate discounts. Ability to apply common sense understanding to instructions and problem solving.
While performing the duties of this job the team member is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms: climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The team member must regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
