Date Position Available:
Plans, organizes, and conducts occupational therapy program in hospital or institution to facilitate development and rehabilitation of cognitively, physically, or emotionally disabled pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and adult persons by performing the following duties under the general supervision of Coordinator of Occupational Therapy. Provides necessary supervision to COTA/ L. Follows State laws /regulations and Code of Ethics guidelines. Facilitates the ability to improve functional, prevocational, vocational, homemaking skills, and activities of daily living.
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. KOTB licensed or eligible to be licensed and certified by the NBCOT.
While performing the duties of this job the team member is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms: climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The team member must regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
