Pharmacy Technician (Non-Certified) In Training
Date Position Available:
Works under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist and provides various technical support services related to inpatient Pharmacy services.
High school diploma or GED. Active Kentucky Board of Pharmacy registration. All new Team Members hired after 3/30/18 will require 1 year prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail or hospital Pharmacy. Must attempt PTCB test with in first 6 months of start of position. Failure to obtain PTCB certification within 8 months of hire date will result in removal from position or termination.
While performing the duties of this job the team member is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms: climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The team member must regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
