The Registered Nurse provides general and specialized direct and indirect patient care through the application of evidence based nursing practice to patients of all ages on assigned nursing unit; demonstrated competency in the behavioral, growth and development, physical, and psychosocial needs of the population served.
Surgical Services Nurse, Cath or Vascular lab Nurse, Endoscopy Nurse, Critical Care Nursing, with skills performance for outpatient and inpatient, emergency or critical care. 2-5 years of peri-operative Nursing preferred. Graduate of a two-year accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. EPIC, PALS, BLS, ACLS. ED requires PALS within 6 months, BITS, TNCC, Non-Violent Intervention (NVCI) within 1st year of employment. CCRN or CNOR preferred. Licensed in Ohio and other state(s) as required.
While performing the duties of this job the team member is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms: climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The team member must regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
